Delta

Delta is a tilt-in-space care chair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity disabilities associated with stroke, multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injury.  It comes with a choice of different pressure relieving seat module options including Intelli-Gel® for pressure management.  The headrest is multi-positional to allow for customization. The chair is also available with a larger rear wheel for ease of pushing, and a negative leg rest angle option for those with contractures. The Delta with gas action adjustment enables fluid and precise movement of the tilt-in-space facility by the release of a lever situated on the push handle. The height and angle adjustable leg rest can be elevated by a separate release mechanism at the front of the chair, and gently raises and lowers accordingly in a smooth arcing motion without affecting the positioning of the footboard. The Delta with electric adjustment reduces effort while increasing the positioning range and flexibility of use of the chair. Individuals can use a simple hand controller to change the movement of the chair’s tilt-in-space.
