The AliMed® Side-Lying Hip Abductor is a hip abductor designed for persons recovering from hip or knee surgery that keeps the user's knees bent at 90° and abducted to externally rotate the hip. This product is ideal for hip adductor spasticity to reduce bone-to-bone pressure in the hips and knees. This product is to be used while laying down. Can be reused and wipes clean. There is a waterproof model that is sold separately.

Technical Specifications: 
  • Materials: Made of wipe-clean polyfoam.
  • Sizes:Measure inseam (crotch to bottom of foot with leg straight). Purchase standard size if inseam measures greater than 30 inches and/or a size small if inseam measures 30 inches or less.
  • Dimensions: Standard Foam is 14 inches Width x 14 inches Depth x 9 inches Height (inside curve) to 11 inches Height (outside curve), four 2 inch Width straps included.

Small Foam is 12 1/4 inches Width x 12 1/4 inches Depth x 9 inches Height (inside curve) to 11 inches Height (outside curve), with four 1 1/2 inch straps included. Standard Waterproof product is the same size as Std. Foam, with four 2 inches Width straps (sold separately).
