UNI is a two-way communication tool for the deaf using gesture and speech technology to facilitate two way communication. Technology detects hand and finger gestures with its specialized camera algorithm and converts the hand and finger gestures to text in very short time to provide meaning of a given sign language.

UNI is also equipped with voice recognition software that will convert speech into text for two-way communication. UNI enables users to create their own sign language with a sign builder, so it is easy to add custom language to the dictionaries.
