The BrailleBox is designed for blind and low vision users to help them learn and practice Braille. It is a board with 12 wooden pegs (each peg represents one of the dots in a regular jumbo Braille cell) and 12 holes which allow one to create jumbo braille characters allowing for children and adults to learn braille. Users insert the pegs into the holes to create 2 separate Braille characters to feel and learn. The board and pegs tuck neatly into wooden storage drawer. The BrailleBox is less than 2 inches thick and the size of a 3 inch by 5-inch index card. This product is designed to enhance the process of learning Braille letters, numbers, and contractions.
