The AliMed® Bariatric Shifter is designed for lateral transfers for patients up to 600 pounds. The shifter reduces caretaker back strain by minimizing friction on transfer services. The elongated shape includes fourteen handholds to ergonomically correct position, and the extra-wide design better supports excess tissue and supports patient's head. The flexible plastic is made for uneven surfaces.
