Technical Specifications: 

Step One: Gather materials.

  • Recycled bottle caps.  
  • Round dot labels / markers / paint
  • Matching crafting pom poms 

Step One: The therapist holds up one bottle cap on their nose.

Step Two: The therapist asks the child to sit about 18 inches from them and stare at the bottle cap.

Step Three: The therapist notes their eye movements as they stare, keeping track of time that the child can stare at the target without visual saccades (eye movements).
