myOn

myOn is a personalized literacy program that is intended to be used by students with learning disabilities. This program offers digital reading content, daily news articles written for students, Lexile framework for reading, literacy tools, and embedded metrics to monitor activity and growth. MyOn generates individualized, interest based recommendations to engage students with books at the correct level. This program also includes flexible reading scaffolds such as audio narration to model fluency, highlighted text, and embedded dictionaries. This allows learners to develop academic specific vocabulary. Students can select books from the entire library, choose from a recommended list of titles, or read from books sets created by teachers.

MyOn has more than 13,000 enhanced digital texts including illustrated and picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, literacy non-fiction, informational texts, and daily news articles written to be student accessible. Students can read books on or offline by downloading up to 20 titles. After the student finishes the book there is a built in quiz to test reading comprehension, these scores are then sent to the teacher to keep track of student growth.
