The Sort and Count Rainbow Puzzle Busy Bag is designed to keep toddlers with special needs calm and focused while teaching counting, sorting, and color identification. There are a few options for fine motor play. ?Option three: rainbow color and shape sorting.

Technical Specifications:

Step One: Gather materials.

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet cardstock
Hole punch
Bag

Step Two: Hole punch each piece of cardstock. (The more hole punched dots, the bigger the rainbow can be.)

Step Three: Put hole punched dots into the bag.

Step Three: Engage in fine motor play. (There are three options.)

Pull all of the dots out of the bag and write shapes on them (circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles.
On a flat surface sort the dots by color (in order of a rainbow) and shape.
