The Talking Calorie Pedometer is a voice output pedometer designed for use by individuals with blindness or low vision. At the touch of a button, an electronic voice announces step count, mileage, time walked, and calories burned. The unit can also be set to announce the information automatically at pre-set intervals. The mechanism distinguishes between the step count of walking or jogging from movements not related to those steps, eliminating them from being included in the count, distance, time, or calories burned. A liquid crystal display (LCD) displays up to 99,999 steps or calories, 199.99 miles, or 99 hours. The unit is equipped with a reset button and a reset button. POWER: Uses two button batteries (included). DIMENSIONS: 2.25 x 2 x 1 inch.
