The Quickie P-222 SE is a powered sports wheelchair designed for use by active individuals with severe physical disabilities, spinal cord injury, and mobility disabilities. An optional manual conversion kit enables the user to covert the chair from power drive to a self propulsion system. FRAME: Features a center of gravity tilt option. Available in eighteen color choices. CONTROLS: Joystick is standard. Breath control, chin control, penta switch, head control, star board, and wafer board are available. MIDWHEEL DRIVE: Offers mid-wheel drive for maneuverability (26 inch turn radius minimum) and curb climbing ability (for approximately 4 inch curbs). PosiDrive technology features tapered axles, conical hubs and lug nuts which increases the strength of the drive train. Freewheel release levers are well protected and easy to access. These levers completely disengage the gear system providing easy freewheel push motion. SEAT: 14 inches to 20 inches wide in one-inch increments, or 22 inches or 24 inches wide. The seat depth is available in 14 to 20 inches in one-inch increments. Available front seat heights are 18 inches, 19 inches and 20 inches. Sling parapak, or pan aluminum seats are available. Back heights are low (15.5 inches), medium (17.5 inches) and tall (19.5 inches). CUSHION: A two-inch cushion is available. ARMRESTS: Dual post flip-back, dual post flip-back height- adjustable, and single post height-adjustable styles are available. BRAKES: Available in push to lock with a six-inch extension. CASTERS: 8- or 9-inch pneumatic wheels with or without airless inserts are available. WHEELS: The drive wheel types include 12 inch x 4 inch or 12 inch x 3 inch wheels with pneumatic tires with or without airless inserts. Knobby tread tires and V groove tires are available. FOOTRESTS: Straight or tapered fixed front hangers are available. The footrests offered include composite with heel loops, angle adjustable with heel loops, aluminum, solid one piece, and two-piece locking with heel loops. POWER: Batteries. SPEEDS: The maximum speed is 8.5 miles per hour. CAPACITY: Weight capacity is 350 pounds. WEIGHT: Approximately 115 pounds without the battery. WARRANTY : Sunrise guarantees the frame for the lifetime of the original purchaser and includes a 2 year warranty on Sunrise made parts and components against defects in materials and workmanship.
