Mountbatten Writer

The Mountbatten Writer, also known as the Mountbatten Braille Writer or Mountbatten Brailler standard model, is an electric braille writer designed for use by children or adults who are learning Braille. It has an ergonomic Braille keyboard with a graphics mode and one-handed mode, correcting and erasing functions, page formatting, and the ability to write to memory. Learning tools include digitized speech output, assignable function keys. The writer can handle a variety of paper types and has 95 kilobytes of memory capable of holding 150 braille pages. Files can be translated from braille to print and transferred to and from a personal computer. Braille documentation is included upon request at the time of order.
